Music 4 Your Soul desire to be a place to promote music that stimulates the mind and warms the soul. The plan is everyday to introduce or remind people of the most positive music out today. Some selections will be from the past, while others will be what current today. The Soul, I believe needs to be put in a state of relaxation from the everyday world. In these times, it has been hard to get by with all the antics going on in our government, business and personal lives. The recession has hit many hard. But even in good times, all work is not good for the soul. There must be time to unwind, relax and reflect. To take yourself out of the hustle of life and fly above to a place that is slow and easy. A place that is not comprised of what went wrong or right today but a place where nothing exist at all. That is were I take myself when I listen to music. And only certain selection of music can do that for you, in my opinion. That were Music 4 Your Soul derives. That is the goal of this place.
For our first selection of music 4 your soul is coming for the R&B world. Some would categorize it as some what hip hop as the artist has used on some track those artist from rap and hiphop world. I myself, have enjoy some of today rappers, however "is it for the soul" is a matter of opinion. But today's selection is an old favorite. El Debarge first enter the our music world via the renown group The Debarge. A musical group comprised of his brothers and one sister. El Debarge also had a solo career afterward. Well, he is back on the music scene. With a new album that is popular R&B sounds of today. However, it is my hope that El is successful with his latest project. The album is filled with some selection that definitely warm your soul. But for my selection today is song entitled "The Other Side". Although is sad lyrically, the music is what captivate you.
